After more than 30 years the classic desktop version of CAMPUS has been terminated on December 31, 2020. This software has supported generations of engineers worldwide in the pre-selection of materials and has become the main plastics material database.
In the meantime, the complete functionality of CAMPUS is available in the online version. Beyond this functionality the online version offers some new features and is also updated much more often. Furthermore, more and more companies have problems installing software packages on their employees' computers, which results in a decreasing number of access. Consequently, the CAMPUS consortium decided to end the support of the desktop version from the end of 2020.
